Nuclear Medicine Technologist

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist conducts diagnostic imaging procedures to help diagnose medical conditions. They operate specialized equipment and ensure high-quality imaging for physician interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately.
• Calibrate and maintain imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
• Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, results, and patient information.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations related to radiology and radiopharmaceutical handling.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid California license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at the time of submission.
• Hold a BLS certification and ARRT-N or CNMT credential.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
• Complete a Nuclear Medicine Tech Diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program.
• Be capable of working a 410 rotating day shift schedule and weekends.
• Demonstrate strong patient care, communication, and technical skills.
