Security Product Reverse Engineer

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in reverse engineering, vulnerability research, and low-level system analysis across modern operating systems and security products. This is a contract role requiring hands-on technical excellence and proven experience working with complex security technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform reverse engineering of security products to identify vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and design flawsConduct in-depth source code analysis and comprehensive code auditsDevelop, test, and debug tooling and exploits in C, C++, and PythonAnalyze binaries and firmware using industry-standard reverse engineering toolsConduct vulnerability research (VR) on operating system internals and security mechanismsSupport development and testing of Computer Network Exploits (CNEs) against commercial and embedded security productsDocument findings clearly and communicate technical results to stakeholdersRequired QualificationsCurrent TS/SCI with Poly ClearanceMinimum 3 years of experience developing, testing, and debugging software in C, C++, and PythonMinimum 3 years of demonstrated experience using IDA Pro and/or Ghidra for reverse engineeringMinimum 3 years of experience performing source code analysis and code auditingAt least 3 years of hands-on Vulnerability Research (VR) experience in one or more of the following environments:Windows internalsLinux kernelmacOS (OS X) internalsMinimum 5 years of hands-on experience developing and testing CNEs against at least one of the following security product families:Personal Security ProductsSecurity AppliancesEmbedded Operating System security solutionsPreferred SkillsStrong understanding of operating system internals and memory managementExperience with obfuscation, anti-debugging, and anti-reverse engineering techniquesFamiliarity with exploit mitigations and bypass strategiesExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skillsPlease Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.Salary & BenefitsThe salary associated with this position ($122,000-$253,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise.
