Aircraft Electrician / Avionics Technician (Level II & III)

We are seeking experienced Aircraft Electricians / Avionics Technicians to support a high-profile aerospace program in San Antonio, TX. This position is ideal for professionals with strong wiring, connector, and troubleshooting experience who are looking to work in a structured, team-driven hangar environment.

Pay: Level II: $30$40/hour Level III: $40$50/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and inspect electrical connectors on aircraft systems
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Perform continuity and insulation resistance testing
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and connector-related issues
• Support aircraft modification and depot maintenance efforts
• Ensure compliance with strict aerospace quality and safety standards
• Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to complete assigned work

Qualifications

Level II: Minimum 5 years of avionics or electrical connector experience

Level III: Minimum 8 years of avionics or aircraft electrical systems experience

Required for Both Levels: Active Secret Clearance IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification (or equivalent) Experience with aircraft wiring harnesses and complex electrical systems Aviation or avionics soldering experience Knowledge and understanding in aircraft maintenance, modification, or avionics environments Ability to work effectively in a team setting

Work Environment & Schedule

• Work performed onsite in a hangar environment
• Schedule: MondayThursday, 7:00 AM 5:00 PM (4x10s)
• Voluntary overtime available based on program needs
• Use of hand tools, power tools, and electrical test equipment
• Must follow all safety, security, and quality protocols
