Warehouse Manager - 3PL

The Role

We're looking for a hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead a 200,000 sq ft distribution facility in Southmain, Houston. This is not a desk job - you'll be on the floor, sleeves rolled up, leading by example alongside your team of 5 staff.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations: receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping

Lead, train, and motivate a small team of 5 warehouse staff

Maintain accuracy, safety, and efficiency across all functions

Ensure on-time dispatch and service level compliance

Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliations

Operate forklift and warehouse equipment as needed - hands-on required

Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant facility

Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to meet client expectations

What We're Looking For

Requirement Detail

Experience - 3+ years in warehouse management, ideally in 3PL distribution

Leadership Style - Hands-on - leads from the floor, not the office

Team Size - Comfortable managing and working alongside 5 staff

Facility Size - Experience with large-scale warehouses (100k+ sq ft preferred)

Equipment - Forklift certified and willing to operate when needed

Systems - WMS knowledge required; CargoWise or similar a plus

Compliance - OSHA knowledge and safety-first mindset
