Data Analyst II

Data Management and Analysis RoleAre you interested in working with complex data to support better risk decisions?Do you enjoy collaborating with technical and non-technical teams to turn data into meaningful insight?This role performs moderate data management and analysis activities within a defined data domain, supporting business and technical stakeholders. You will work closely with data sources and internal partners to research, validate, and analyze data, helping to improve data quality and usability. The role emphasizes problem solving, collaboration, and continuous learning in a data-driven environment.ResponsibilitiesSupport business teams through data analysis and research activitiesModify and run pre-designed queries to assess data for research and reportingIndependently produce basic data statistics, coverage metrics, and field population analysisRun data profiles and perform routine data review and verificationInvestigate, track, and report data issues, ensuring timely resolution or clarificationProvide technical problem-solving support to less technical teamsSupport new data onboarding and ongoing production data management tasksProduce ad hoc data counts, statistics, and examples as requiredRequirementsExperience working in data management or data analysis with demonstrated analytical capabilityPractical experience using query or development languages such as SQL, UNIX/Linux, XML, HPCC, or similar toolsExperience working with multiple data types and formats, including XML and flat or delimited filesAbility to analyze data and link facts to form clear, meaningful conclusionsStrong attention to detail, including effective proofreading and data validation skillsClear written and verbal communication skillsCuriosity and willingness to learn new tools, processes, and technologiesStrong research and problem-solving skills
