We are searching for a Diesel Mechanic to join our skilled team at the SHAW’S Distribution Center located in Methuen, MA Positions offer a competitive, comprehensive benefit package, annual tool & boot allowance. Position Overview Maintain and repair refrigerated trailers and reefer units. Diagnose Thermo King and Carrier refrigeration systems. Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections. Support trailer and fleet reliability for grocery distribution operations. What You Will Do Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration equipment. Read electrical and refrigeration schematics. Identify warranty repairs and complete documentation. Maintain a clean, safe, OSHA-compliant work environment. Work collaboratively with supervisors and fellow technicians. Qualifications Truck, trailer, reefer, diesel, or HVAC experience preferred. Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred. Ability to obtain EPA Section 608 Certification. Ability to obtain ASE Heavy Truck Certification. Basic computer proficiency and maintenance software experience preferred. What We Are Searching For Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy duty tractor/trailer repair. May require valid DOT physical card and a CDL driver's license. May need certification in the use of refrigerants and recycling equipment Ability to work full-time with the ability to work any shift.
