Job Summary

Prior Experience of 1-2 years with Logistics Warehouse Dispatching is a Must!!!

We are looking for a reliable and organized  Dispatcher to join our operations team. The Dispatcher will coordinate drivers, schedule pickups and deliveries, communicate with customers, and ensure daily operations run efficiently. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch drivers for pickups and deliveries.
• Coordinate daily routes and work schedules.
• Communicate with drivers, customers, and supervisors regarding load status and service requests.
• Monitor driver logs, hours of service, and equipment utilization.
• Prepare and process work orders.
• Maintain accurate dispatch records and customer information.
• Resolve customer questions and service issues professionally.
• Monitor assigned territories to ensure timely service.
• Keep the work area organized and professional.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of dispatching or related experience preferred.
• Experience in transportation or logistics is a plus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Required Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Experience with McLeod, ShipXpress, and PeopleNet is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management.
• Ability to analyze information and make sound decisions.

Language Requirements

• English required (spoken and written).
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
