Production Operator

**Overview**Mural is partnering with a global specialty chemical and polymer manufacturer to staff their production facilities across Michigan, Massachusetts, and Ohio. Our client produces polymer colorants and specialty additive materials used across automotive, packaging, appliance, and consumer product manufacturing. Their plants operate continuously and they need experienced production operators who know how to run blending and extrusion equipment, follow recipe-based procedures, and maintain accurate documentation.What you will be doingSet up and operate blending and extrusion machinery following operating and safety proceduresWeigh ingredients to recipe specification; monitor production for safe and efficient operationTroubleshoot basic processing and equipment issues; escalate to supervisor when neededExamine materials to ensure they meet quality standards; take lab samples when requiredComplete production logs, system transactions, and required documentationPerform machine cleaning; maintain housekeeping standards throughout your shiftFollow all safety, ISO, and EHS rules; wear required PPE at all timesWhat we are looking for1+ year of experience in blending, mixing, extrusion, or plastics/chemical manufacturingAble to set up and operate production machinery; basic troubleshooting experienceBasic computer literacy for production documentationPhysically able to lift 55 lbs regularly; comfortable in a chemical/industrial environmentAvailable for 2nd shift; reliable transportation to Albion, MIHigh school diploma or GED requiredPay and ScheduleCompetitive hourly rate.
