Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)

The position requires skills in general OR procedures and various laparoscopic assisted cases. Experience with gastric bypass, gastric sleeve, and lap band procedures is essential. Candidates should be familiar with aortic aneurysm repair and abdominal aortic aneurysm repair techniques. Knowledge of carotid angioplasty and carotid endarterectomy is necessary. Candidates must be experienced in endovascular aneurysm repair and femoral popliteal bypass grafts. Experience with radical neck dissection, tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, and tracheostomy is required. Candidates should be proficient in appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and colon resection procedures, both open and laparoscopic. Expertise in hernia repair, both inguinal and umbilical, is essential. Candidates should be familiar with mastectomy, thyroidectomy (partial and total), and anterior/posterior repair procedures. Experience in cervical cerclage, dilation & curettage, and various gynecological procedures is required. Knowledge of anterior cervical fusion, cervical fusions, and craniotomy is necessary. Experience with insertion of VP shunts, laminectomies/discectomies, and spinal fusion is required. Candidates should be skilled in total hip replacement and total knee replacement surgeries. Familiarity with colorectal robotic surgery and da Vinci Xi surgical system is important. Experience in mediastinoscopy, VATS, cystoscopy, and nephrectomy is necessary. Candidates must be experienced with prostatectomy and transurethral resection of the prostate. Knowledge of lithotripsy and ureteroscopy is required. Candidates must have a strong understanding of decontamination and sterilization processes. Aseptic technique expertise and management/lead experience are preferred. Candidates should be knowledgeable about sharps safety, specimen handling, and the universal protocol procedure. This role may require call for 6 shifts during each 8-week time block, including weekends and holidays. Epic charting system experience is preferred. Candidates will float as needed.
