Director Operations - Transport Management

A quoi ressemblera votre nouveau défi?

  • Vous serez pleinement responsable de la gestion, de la performance et de la qualité des opérations de notre client dans la région France, en supervisant un réseau de transport avec la gestion de dépenses de plus de 200 millions d'euros par an.

  • Vous serez en charge de diriger et de développer une organisation de plus de 60 personnes, en garantissant une équipe performante et motivée, en particulier les ~7 Managers que vous dirigez directement. Vous participez aux processus de recrutement de 4flow.

  • Vous gérez les services d' exécution et de planification , pour assurer des opérations logistiques fluides et efficaces, le développement stratégique du compte pour stimuler la croissance et l'amélioration continue.

  • Vous assurez une performance élevée du réseau, supervisez la gestion des opérations en ligne avec la stratégie de transport du client et agissez en tant qu' interface principale avec la direction du client .

  • Vous participez activement à la gestion de la liaison, en détectant et en résolvant les problèmes, en coordonnant les expéditions spéciales et accélérées, en facilitant la coordination entre le client et 4flow.

  • Vous assurez le plus haut niveau de satisfaction client .

  • Vous serez en charge du suivi et du reporting des KPI à la direction du client et de 4flow et de l'identification et de la mise en œuvre des améliorations potentielles au sein du réseau logistique.

  • Vous gérez la performance financière de l'organisation, en garantissant la rentabilité et la rentabilité, vous êtes responsable du compte de résultat de votre organisation. Vous soutenez les ventes et la mise en œuvre de la stratégie du groupe .

  • Vous êtes rattaché au Vice-président des opérations, au sein de 4flow management.

Nous recherchons un collègue force de proposition, expérimenté dans la planification stratégique et possédant une compréhension approfondie des opérations. Le candidat idéal dirigera son équipe grâce à une combinaison de compétences personnelles et d'expertise professionnelle, en mettant l'accent sur la réflexion stratégique tout en considérant l'implication pratique.

  • Vous êtes titulaire d'un Master en économie, logistique ou ingénierie industrielle (écoles d'ingénieurs ou de commerce).

  • Vous avez un minimum de 6 ans d'expérience professionnelle, axée sur la planification plutôt que sur les opérations.

  • Vous avez une expérience avérée dans des rôles de management tels que responsable d'équipe, vous connaissez le droit du travail français et ses implications.

  • Vous démontrez une expertise dans l'industrie, une expérience dans la logistique automobile est un atout supplémentaire.

  • Vous avez confiance en vos grandes capacités analytiques et numériques et vous avez une très bonne connaissance de MS Office, en particulier Excel (analyse de feuille de calcul), Tableau ou autre solution BI.

  • Vous avez de solides compétences en communication en anglais et en français.

  • Vous faites preuve de grandes compétences analytiques et êtes prêt à aller au fond des choses si nécessaire.

  • Vous savez travailler de manière proactive, avec une orientation vers des objectifs élevés, une forte orientation client, et partagez un état d'esprit entrepreneurial.

4flow is more than 1300 employees at 20+ locations worldwide. We are one of the market leaders in the field of logistics optimization and combine logistics consulting, supply chain software, 4PL services and logistics research in an innovative business model. Our 4flow management division plans, optimizes and continuously manages our customers' supply chain networks as a neutral 4PL with innovative concepts in transport and network management.

For our team, we are looking for a talented candidate who shares our enthusiasm for supply chain management. Take part in the development of 4flow in France!

What your new challenge will look like:

  • You will have the full ownership of the management, performance, and quality of the Manufacturing Account of our client in the Region France, overseeing a transport network with a managed spend of over €200 million annually.

  • You will be in charge of leading and developing of an organization of over 60 team members, ensuring a high-performing and motivated team, especially the ~7 direct reports (Managers). You participate in 4flow recruitment processes.

  • You manage execution and planning services , to ensure seamless and efficient logistics operations, strategic development of the account to drive growth and continuous improvement.

  • You ensure high network performance, oversee operations management in line with the client’s transport strategy and act as the primary interface to the client’s management .

  • You are actively participating in liaison management, by detecting and resolving problems, coordinating special and expedited shipments, facilitating coordination between the client and 4flow.

  • You ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction .

  • You will be in charge of monitoring and reporting KPIs to the client’s and 4flow’s top management and identifying and implementing potential improvements within the logistics network.

  • You manage the financial performance of the organization , ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness, you have the responsibility of the P&L of your organization

  • You support sales and the implementation of the business group strategy .

  • You report to the Vice President of Operations, 4flow management

We are looking for a colleague who is flexible in their thinking, experienced in strategic planning, and has a profound understanding of operations. The ideal candidate will lead their team through a combination of personal skills and professional expertise, emphasizing strategic thinking and including hands-on deployment.

  • You have a Master Degree in Economics, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering (engineer or business schools).

  • You have a minimum of 6 years of professional experience, with a focus on planning rather than operations.

  • You have proven experience in leadership roles such as Team Leader, you are familiar with French labor law and processes.

  • You demonstrate expertise in the industry, with experience in automotive logistics as a strong plus.

  • You are confident in your high analytical and numerical abilities and you have a very good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel (spreadsheet analysis), Tableau or other BI solution.

  • You have strong English and French communication skills.

  • You demonstrate high analytical competencies and are ready to go down to the detail if required.

  • You can work proactively, with a high goal orientation, strong customer focus, sharing an entrepreneurial mindset

  • You give us confidence in your leadership and interpersonal skills and presence
