Lab Supervisor - Hematology

Job Summary The Hematology Supervisor provides day-to-day operational and technical leadership for the Hematology, Coagulation, and Urinalysis sections of a high‑complexity hospital laboratory. This role ensures high quality, timely, and compliant testing by supervising staff, maintaining regulatory standards, supporting continuous improvement, and collaborating closely with laboratory leadership, pathologists, and clinical partners. The supervisor serves as a technical and professional resource for staff while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork. Job Details Time Type: Full Time (80 hours per pay period) Typical Hours Worked: Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related laboratory discipline - required ASCP or equivalent national certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technologist - required Three (3) years of clinical laboratory experience, with demonstrated expertise in Hematology and Coagulation - required Previous leadership experience (supervisory, lead technologist, or equivalent) in a high‑complexity laboratory setting - required Strong working knowledge of CLIA, CAP, and hospital laboratory regulatory requirements - required Benefits Comprehensive and affordable health coverage including medical, prescription, dental and vision - available on the first of the month after hire date Saint Francis Medical Services Discount Earned Time Off (ETO) based on relevant years of work history.
