Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local&travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Wellspan Health.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Special Requests:RTO: If you have more than 5 days of requested time off, time will be added at the end of the contract to ensure a full 13 weeks.Scheduling requests cannot be accommodated.Please do not request more than 1 holiday off.

Unit Details:High-acuity step-down/intermediate care unit.Adult and geriatric patient population with cardiac disease and stroke.Acute cardiac events requiring continuous intravenous medication drips, pre- and post-electrophysiology studies, pre- and post-cardiac catheterization, and pre- and post-pacemaker/AICD care.Could care for COVID patients.Additional patient populations may include stable open-heart surgery patients transferred out of ICU (typically day 4-5 post-op), peritoneal dialysis, respiratory illness, joint replacements, observation/fast turnaround, CHF exacerbations, arrhythmias, general surgery, ortho, end-of-life care, COPD, and sepsis.Tobacco- and fragrance-free facility.

Shift&Scheduling:RTO: Max 7 days.Weekends as needed (likely every other weekend).Travelers will be expected to work 2 of 3 upcoming major holidays (Thanksgiving Day/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day). If the contract falls over only 2 of these holidays, traveler will be expected to work 1 of 2 holidays.

Floating Requirements:Will float to all MS floors and potentially rehab; may float to OB as helping hands.
