Pharmacy Technician in Anaheim, CA

Seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support a healthcare facility in Gardena, CA, on a travel contract basis. This position offers a unique night shift schedule of 5 days on followed by 5 days off, working 10-hour shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The role requires hands-on inpatient pharmacy experience with proficiency in making IV preparations and managing medication distribution systems.

This position requires familiarity with Order Entry Systems, specifically Allscripts/Paragon, and working efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment supporting 173 licensed beds with an average daily census of 140 patients.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician in an inpatient setting
• Skilled in preparing IV medications and managing Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets
• Familiarity with Allscripts/Paragon or similar order entry software
• Ability to work night shifts on a 5-on, 5-off schedule consistently
• Strong communication skills to liaise with nursing staff and manage medication delivery
