Front Desk / Check-In Coordinator
The Front Desk / Check-In Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients and plays a crucial role in ensuring the office runs smoothly. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail. No dental experience required, but it is a plus. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Patient Interaction
- Greet and welcome patients with a warm, friendly demeanor.
- Check patients in and verify their information, including insurance and contact details.
- Assist patients with completing necessary paperwork.
Scheduling & Coordination
- Manage and confirm appointments.
- Ensure an efficient and organized schedule to optimize provider productivity.
- Handle cancellations, reschedules, and waitlist patients promptly.
Insurance & Billing Support
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits.
- Collect co-pays and outstanding balances at check-in.
- Provide basic information about treatment plans and payment options.
General Administrative Duties
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries professionally.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting area.
- Communicate effectively with the back office to ensure seamless patient flow.
