Work Environment\n

This position is predominantly telehealth-based, allowing you to conduct therapy and counseling sessions through secure digital platforms. You will have the opportunity to work closely with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, enabling a collaborative approach to patient care. Our supportive remote work culture promotes work-life balance, with a regular schedule of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the emotional and psychological needs of elderly clients.

• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions focused on addressing anxiety, depression, and other emotional challenges related to aging.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to create and update personalized care plans that cater to each resident's unique needs and circumstances.

• Educate family members and caregivers about strategies to support the emotional well-being of elderly individuals, enhancing the overall quality of care.

• Provide specialized grief and loss counseling to clients and their families navigating end-of-life issues and bereavement.

• Implement cognitive stimulation and mental health interventions aimed at promoting mental acuity and coping strategies for seniors.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress in compliance with ethical and legal standards in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be the elderly population dealing with a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, grief, and cognitive decline. You will engage with clients facing significant life transitions, such as retirement, the loss of loved ones, or health-related changes. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credentials.

Compensation and Benefits\n
