We're Hiring: Commercial Underwriter (E&S) | Hybrid Opportunity Are you an experienced Commercial Underwriter looking to make a meaningful impact within a growing organization? We're seeking a knowledgeable and relationship-driven underwriting professional to join our expanding Commercial Division. In this role, you'll be a key contributor to our underwriting team, helping drive profitable portfolio growth while delivering exceptional service to our agency partners. You'll work closely with underwriting leadership to evaluate risks, support strategic business initiatives, and build strong relationships with agents across the Florida marketplace. What You'll Do Review, evaluate, and underwrite new business opportunities within the E&S market Analyze risks, coverage needs, and policy exposures to make sound underwriting decisions Manage policy endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and inspections Collaborate with agents and brokers to provide timely solutions and exceptional customer service Support profitability goals through thorough risk assessment and portfolio management Partner with underwriting leadership on business development and growth initiatives Maintain strong knowledge of market trends, regulatory requirements, and underwriting guidelines What We're Looking For 5+ years of Commercial Underwriting experience Excess & Surplus (E&S) / Surplus Lines underwriting experience Strong understanding of ISO rating concepts and commercial coverage forms Knowledge of the Florida and Coastal Commercial Insurance markets Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Why Join Us?
