Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Family Practice in Atlanta Region, GA

Doctor of Medicine | Family Practice Location: Atlanta Region, GA Employer: All Medical Personnel Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 2 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Urgent Care Clinician (Physician or Nurse Practitioner) | Georgia Location: Georgia Schedule: Ongoing PRN shifts. Minimum commitment of 6 to 8 shifts per month. Common shift options include 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Openings: 1 Position Overview Urgent care coverage with a solo provider model supported by medical assistants (some sites may also have nursing support). Providers must be willing to float within the local region as needed to cover clinics. Clinical Details Setting: Urgent Care Typical cases: general urgent care including testing, imaging as applicable, suturing, EKG interpretation, and physicals. Patient volume: up to 4 patients per hour. Ages seen: 2 years and older. EMR: Experity (Velocidoc). Required Qualifications Family Practice or Internal Medicine, or Nurse Practitioner with urgent care experience (must be able to see ages 2 plus as required). Board certification or national certification as applicable. DEA required. Urgent care experience required. NPDB self query required. Clean background and clean NPDB history required. Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify. Travel and Lodging Travel and lodging support may be available for consecutive work days. Mileage support may be available based on distance. Onboarding Onboarding and credentialing timeline is typically about one week, plus an in clinic paid shadow shift.
