Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and improve manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This role supports production by minimizing downtime, performing preventative maintenance, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Install, replace, and maintain motors, sensors, drives, and control components.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency repairs.
• Perform welding and fabrication as needed.
• Support equipment upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain repair and maintenance records.
• Assist with general facility and building maintenance projects as needed.
• Follow all safety policies, OSHA regulations, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance or electro-mechanical experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred

• Technical school, vocational training, or related certification.
• Manufacturing experience.
• PLC troubleshooting experience.
• Welding and fabrication skills.
• Textile, carpet, rug, or weaving industry experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work around manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and perform repairs safely.
