PRN Physical Therapist

Responsibilities Evaluate and conduct prescribed physical therapy treatment programs. Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients’ conditions. Establish, revise and evaluate plans of care while involving the patient and/or their family. Perform therapy interventions. Supervise activities of Physical Therapy Assistants, students, and other caregivers. Minimum qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or certificate Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Preferred qualifications Experience in a clinical area Physical Requirements Ability to walk and climb stairs without assistive device and to maintain balance to support patients from falling. Ability to meet physical demands characterized at the heavy level as defined by recognized standards. Ability to lift and reach with arms to support patients during therapy. Sensation of touch and manual dexterity to palpate muscle tension or monitor patient pulse. Visual acuity to observe movement and read patient monitors. Ability to speak clearly to instruct patients and families. Ability to hear at a conversational level to understand patient descriptions of symptoms and responses to treatment. Personal Protective Equipment Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Pay Pay Range: Minimum hourly: $50.00; Maximum hourly: $50.00. The pay range reflects the anticipated range for new hires. Actual compensation is determined after considering factors such as work history, experience, skill set, and education.
