Tech - X-ray/Rad Tech

Job Description

Job Summary:

Xray tech will perform diagnostic imaging services with a focus on patient safety, quality imaging, and efficient workflow in an emergency setting. The role requires strong clinical judgment and timely completion of imaging procedures during the assigned coverage dates.

Responsibilities:

• Perform radiographic imaging procedures according to established protocols and physician orders.
• Ensure proper patient positioning, lead shielding, and radiation safety practices for all exams.
• Maintain accurate patient identification, exam documentation, and image quality verification.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to support urgent imaging needs and timely throughput.
• Prepare, operate, and troubleshoot imaging equipment to maintain readiness.
• Adhere to infection control standards and ensure safe handling of patients and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Hold active credentialing/license requirements as applicable to practice as an X-ray/Rad Tech.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Maintain current PALS certification and NRP certification or other as applicable.
• Demonstrate ability to verify vaccination status with proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination/declination.
• Provide proof of required certifications and complete required background and drug screening processes as permitted.
• Demonstrate commitment to patient safety, teamwork, and high-quality imaging standards.
