Job Description Boston Vision is seeking an experienced Optometrist to join our growing team. As an Optometrist, you will use your knowledge and established skill set to provide excellent eye care to each patient. The primary immediate role will be assisting in cataract surgery post‑operative co‑management for a busy cataract surgery practice. Growing from there, an ideal candidate would enjoy working in a multi‑faced capacity from performing routine eye exams, to evaluating potential Lasik and cataract candidates, and skillfully fitting both soft and specialty contact lenses. Additionally, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, documenting all diagnosis and/or treatment plans, billing, and assisting in other postoperative care. Schedule is Monday‑Friday, variation of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. This position may require flexibility to travel to other clinics on an as‑needed basis. Required Qualifications Must hold a Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree. Must hold a valid, Massachusetts state‑issued license of Optometry. Bilingual Spanish speaking skills strongly desired. Additional Information Boston Vision currently has 7 locations in the Metro‑Boston area. We ask our team members to be open to traveling to other locations as the business demands. Strong candidates have well‑developed communication and interpersonal skills, practice the importance of facilitating the highest quality of patient care, and have proven extensive knowledge of promoting eye‑health, diagnosing eye‑related conditions.
