We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Wound Care Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our residents, promoting wound healing, and improving their overall well-being. Responsibilities: Provide high-quality wound care to residents with complex wounds, including debridement, dressing changes, and other treatments as prescribed by the physician Conduct wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team Educate and empower residents and their families on wound care and preventive measures Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to provide comprehensive care and promote resident independence Maintain accurate and detailed records of wound care treatments and progress Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve wound care outcomes and resident satisfaction Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff Requirements: Current RN or LPN license in the state of Illinois 1-2 years of experience (new graduates welcome to apply) Strong clinical skills and knowledge of wound care principles and practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks Working Environment: Momence Meadows Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is a full-time, 24/7 healthcare facility in Momence, IL Our modern facility offers a supportive and collaborative work environment with opportunities for professional growth and development $2500.00 Sign on bonus per requirements #J-18808-Ljbffr
