Shipper/Receiver

Schedule: Monday–Friday, Full-Time
Pay: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)

Position Summary

The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of materials and finished goods. This role supports manufacturing operations by ensuring inventory is properly handled, orders are prepared accurately, and shipments are completed on schedule while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Essential Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and verify shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Inspect incoming deliveries for accuracy and report any discrepancies or damaged goods.
• Pick, pack, label, and prepare outgoing shipments according to customer and company requirements.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely (certification preferred or willing to obtain).
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems or ERP software.
• Load and unload trucks while following all safety procedures.
• Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control activities.
• Coordinate with production, purchasing, and customer service teams to ensure timely movement of materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and shipping regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
• Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office and/or inventory management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Forklift certification is preferred or the ability to become certified
