Job Title:

Maintenance Technician-3rd Shift

Job Description:

• Housekeeping.
• Performs assigned preventative maintenance.
• Performs scheduled maintenance on equipment and machinery
• Responds to and corrects equipment stoppage/mechanical breakdown.
• Troubleshoots repairs/replaces worn/defective parts motors control devices.
• Operators machine shop equipment hand tools power hand tools and makes required parts when necessary.
• Maintenance Connection or equivalent computerized maintenance management system experience is a plus.
• Monitor safety aspects and awareness including walk-throughs audits and submission of safety related work orders.
• A strong desire to advance within the facility.
• Solid understanding and knowledge of electrical and mechanical processes and principles
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office applications databases and interfacing.
• Basic understanding of programming with Allen Bradley and Control Techniques.
• Ability to understand Auto CAD drawings.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate with outside vendors including input of Purchase Orders.
• Demonstrated ability to fabricate machine parts from drawings for equipment builds.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Must have project management skills.
• An operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes motors servos pumps drives relays 3 phase power communication devices industrial / electronic controls and power transmission systems.
• A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Other duties as required.
• Must be able to work overtime.
• Must be able to read write and speak English.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be certified from a tech or trade school.

• 5 years experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to use hand tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Must be able to pass powered lift equipment testing.
