Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of current Medical Surgical experience License: Michigan RN license Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS, Active American Heart Association ACLS Must-Have: - BLS and ACLS certifications must be current and uploaded with profile - Must have own vehicle Description: Consistently uses an outward mindset and puts forth exemplary effort in accomplishing goals and objectives in a manner that helps others achieve their goals. Conducts initial and ongoing assessments, develops and updates plans of care accordingly in collaboration with patients. Provides and directs nursing care and evaluates outcomes. Uses technology appropriately, including safety standards and measures while following infection prevention standards. Uses evidence-based tools, established policies, procedures, and standards of care and practice. Educates patients and family members and documents accordingly. Reports actual or potential occurrences according to established procedures. Engages in self-assessment, peer review, completes mandatory education and competency assessments, and accepts responsibility for ongoing professional development. Participates in unit-based performance improvement activities and supports change. Behaves in accordance with mission, vision, values, philosophy, and ethical practices of the nursing profession. Practices consistently in accord with the legal definition of nursing, including provisions on delegation and supervision.
