Job Summary:
Travel - Ultrasound Tech - CHOS Ultrasonography (724) MHUMC - Sav / Mon-Thus 9:00PM-7:30AM provides diagnostic ultrasound services within radiology workflows, supporting timely imaging for patient care. You will perform and document ultrasound examinations while maintaining patient safety, comfort, and imaging quality.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general ultrasound and echocardiography exams according to established protocols
• Prepare patients for procedures and position patients to obtain diagnostic images
• Operate ultrasound equipment, optimize image quality, and ensure accurate data capture
• Document exam results in the electronic medical record system (EPIC)
• Maintain infection control standards and clean/disinfect equipment and workspaces
• Collaborate with radiology staff to ensure efficient patient throughput and quality assurance

Qualifications:

• Hold ARDMS certification (or equivalent ultrasound credential)
• Hold BLS certification prior to assignment and maintain current status
• Demonstrate 2+ years of ultrasound/sonography experience
• Show proficiency in performing echocardiography and general ultrasound examinations
• Maintain strong knowledge of anatomy, patient safety, and imaging best practices
• Operate ultrasound systems with attention to detail and consistent quality standards
