Travel Registered Nurse Cardiac Job

Overview
Registered Nurse needed for a travel assignment in Cardiac care, located in Cumming, GA. Start date June 15, 2026 for a 13-week assignment. 40 guaranteed hours per week with 10-hour day shifts, four days per week, and on-call coverage. This role supports a Cardiac Cath Lab team in a hospital setting, focusing on peri-procedural care, patient monitoring, and post-procedure recovery. Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the Cardiac Cath Lab or Cardiology specialty is required, along with AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.

- Schedule details: M-F 7:00 am–5:30 pm with on-call coverage; No local candidates within 50 miles

Responsibilities
- Prepare the cardiac catheterization lab for procedures and assist the interventional team with sterile technique
- Monitor invasive hemodynamics and patient status during procedures; document vital signs and procedural data
- Assist with equipment operation, radiographic imaging, and medication administration as directed
- Provide peri-procedural patient care, including pre- and post-procedure assessment and recovery support
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and nursing staff to ensure patient safety and efficient workflow
- Respond to on-call demands and contribute to rapid patient transport and handoff communications

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab or Cardiology experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
- Experience in 711F Card/Cath Spec or equivalent Cardiac Cath Lab RN role
- Ability to work in a hospital/Cardiac Cath Lab environment with required schedule
- Strong teamwork, communication, and critical-thinking skills
