About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-kept environment at our church in Orlando, FL. Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain all church facilities, including sanctuaries, classrooms, offices, and restrooms
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors throughout the building
• Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, pews, and fixtures
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper in restrooms and common areas
• Remove trash and recycling from all areas and transport to designated disposal sites
• Prepare and clean facilities before and after events, services, and gatherings
• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to management

Requirements:

• Prior housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a professional demeanor
• Respectful of a faith-based environment and diverse congregation
• Flexible availability, including weekends or event-based scheduling as needed
