Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Description

Job Summary:
The Sonographer will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including echocardiography and vascular imaging, to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment planning. They will operate ultrasound equipment and ensure optimal image quality for interpretation.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations adhering to established protocols.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and optimize imaging settings.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to provide accurate diagnostic data.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and findings.
• Ensure proper equipment maintenance and safety standards are followed.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RCIS or RT(R) certification/license preferred but not required.
• Have at least 2 years of ultrasound or sonography experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Maintain current knowledge of ultrasound technology and imaging techniques.
