Utilization Review Assistant

Deaconess

Our Brentwood facility provides 24/7 intake, stabilization, and hospital-based detox alongside step-down care like partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs

A Brief Overview
The Utilization Review Program Assistant monitors the patient's benefits, assures reimbursement coverage, and identifies areas of concern. Completes insurance registration and verification of visit authorizations. Collaborates with the Utilization Management team and multi-disciplinary treatment team members to assure the patient's treatment and follow up care is as seamless as possible. Promotes quality cost-effective outcomes and optimizes reimbursement for organizational services. Prepares detailed service delivery reports regarding activity, volume, and utilization. Consistently exemplifies the Deaconess Case Management standards to both internal and external customers across the health care continuum.

Education Qualifications

Associate's Degree in medical field Preferred or
Bachelor's Degree in medical field Preferred

Experience Qualifications

Experience in psychiatric setting or acute hospital medical setting Preferred
Prior experience in case management, medical insurance, or billing experience Preferred
