Junior Product Designer

Overview: A junior product designer role with Los Angeles Dodgers LLC focusing on UI/UX design, prototyping, design system adherence, research, usability testing, and cross-functional collaboration within Baseball Operations - Product Development. Responsibilities Design high-fidelity prototypes that tackle function-level challenges Review design system documentation and identify potential improvements Produce tactical deliverables such as user flows as directed Present design decisions to peers and solicit feedback Reference existing user research when scoping problems with product and engineering Document user findings using current research templates Apply organizational and industry best practices to solve function-level problems Test internal products and document any usability issues discovered Participate in cross-functional design meetings and lead design reviews as instructed Follow established project management processes and use team collaboration tools consistently Learn and follow team processes for user research, design, and testing Observe and reflect on team and peer practices Attend recruiting events as instructed Requirements Foundational design skills across user research, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design for data driven applications Proficiency in Figma Excellent attention to detail and strong critical thinking Ability to take direction and collaborate effectively within a team Willingness to ask questions and seek clarification when requirements are unclear Working knowledge of on-field baseball rules and enthusiasm for the sport Eagerness to learn technical concepts and how constraints influence design possibilities Technologies Figma Education Bachelor’s degree in a related field Location Los Angeles, CA (onsite) Salary USD 48 - 52 per hourly #J-18808-Ljbffr Los Angeles Dodgers LLC
