RN: ICU/CCU/Critical Care

Job Description: Step into a travel healthcare contract in Smyrna, TN, supporting an ICU unit with hands‑on work that centers on advanced ventilator and sedation management, medication titration, and operating within a well‑established documentation workflow using Meditech. This role emphasizes teamwork and problem‑solving in day‑to‑day ICU operations, with strong focus on tech‑enabled workstreams and reliable equipment use (including GE monitors, Nova glucometers, Pyxis medication dispensing, and Dräger vents). Shifts are scheduled as 12‑hour days on a 36‑hour per week commitment, including every‑other‑weekend coverage in rotation. You’ll float as needed in rotation with full‑time staff and other travelers. The unit requires AIDET expectations and includes completing the communication board and medication teaching as part of the standard unit process. ICU experience with ventilator and sedation management is essential, along with BLS and ACLS, and Trauma III certification requirements.
