Job Description

• Perform in-depth patient evaluations, including physical examinations and extensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in the assessment and diagnosis of surgical ailments through the analysis of imaging results and laboratory data
• Work hand in hand with surgeons to formulate and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for individual patients
• Provide integral intraoperative assistance, including the preparation of surgical suites, ensuring appropriate patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments during operations
• Offer exceptional pre- and post-operative care, which encompasses medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preference for candidates who have completed clinical rotations emphasizing surgical practices

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Required certifications in BLS and ACLS
• State licensure as a Physician Assistant (or eligibility for licensure)
