Laborer / Orlando, FL 2+ Months Contract

Production Line Operator

On-site interviews hours: Thursday-Saturday 6 AM-6 PM - Also, every other Wednesday from 6 AM-6 PM. Candidate will need to provide their own steel toed shoes.

Responsibilities include:

• Supplying the production lines with cans through the use of the depalletizer machine.
• Inspecting cans for quality to prevent dented/damaged cans from being sent to the production lines.
• Frequent climbing up and down stairs to safely operate depalletizer machine.
• Ability to inspect and safely operate forklift.
• Unloading can trailers and stocking product in designated locations in the warehouse.
• Assisting line operators in emptying dumpsters and bringing supplies to the line.
• Use of cutting tools to cut plastic wrap and side bands while practicing safe work habits.
• Ability to follow directions and work safely within an industrial environment.
• Communication skills, written skills, and the ability to work in a fast paced setting with little supervision.
• Basic math skills and good visual skills are required.
• Ability to lift 20-50 lbs.
• Constant turning, reaching, lifting, pulling, balancing, & hearing throughout the shift
