Senior Risk and Loss Prevention Engineer/Specialist

Senior Risk and Loss Prevention Engineer/Specialist Pay Rate: $135.00 - $150.00/hour on W2 Contract Length: 12 months Location: Spring, TX 77389 (Onsite) Responsibilities Works with Project Team to coordinate timely completion of studies and assessments. Supports Advisor and Project Teams in coordination with EPCs for contractor led/facilitated assessments. Develops/Reviews study charters, carries out reviews and prepares reports. Follows up with action owners to progress Action Resolution Plan development and endorsement. Stewards and progresses action items to resolution. As needed, facilitates Company led studies/assessments. Review designs for new projects and upgrade of existing facilities for compliance with company and industry safety standards. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering within discipline or equivalent professional experience. Offshore experience, particularly in the subsea area. Guideword HAZOP facilitation experience. Experience working with the client. Able to carry out consequence modelling (using DNV PHAST). Environmental, Health and Safety experience. Loss Prevention experience. Extensive knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria. Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs. Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications.
