Duration: Permanent, full-time

Shift: Variable, based on unit needs no delivery attendance required

Hours/week: 40+

License/Certs: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics; Nevada medical license or eligibility

Experience: Pediatric hospitalist experience preferred, new graduates with relevant training considered

Pay & Benefits

Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (please note, this is indicative; actual salary discussed during interview)

Salary Range: $190,000 $230,000 annually (discussed during interview)

What You'll Do

• Perform newborn nursery examinations and conduct circumcisions
• Participate in pediatric resident and medical student education
• Collaborate with pediatric intensivists, neonatologists, and hospital staff
• Work alongside dedicated nursing teams trained in newborn, transitional, and couplet care
• Practice in a 58-bed Level 3 NICU with 24/7 in-house neonatology coverage
• Utilize comprehensive pediatric subspecialty support, including pediatric surgery
• Contribute to high-quality, patient-centered newborn care
• Practice in a facility recognized for clinical excellence and collaborative care

What You Need

Required:

• MD or DO degree, licensed or eligible for licensure in Nevada
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• Proven competency in neonatal and pediatric care

Preferred:

• Pediatric hospitalist experience
• Flexible and adaptable team player
