Request ID: 105710-1 Title: Data Governance Lead Locations: Phoenix, AZ ( Local Candidate) Duration: 6 Months Pay Range: $40 - $45/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive) Introduction We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Lead to drive data governance initiatives with a strong focus on Metadata Management, Data Lineage, Data Catalog, and Data Quality Governance. This role will be responsible for establishing governance frameworks, ensuring end-to-end visibility of critical data assets, and enabling trusted data for analytics, reporting, AI, and regulatory compliance. Required Skills & Qualifications 5-6 years of experience in data governance or related fields Strong focus on Metadata Management, Data Lineage, and Data Quality Governance Experience in establishing governance frameworks and driving adoption across the enterprise Ability to engage with both business stakeholders and technology teams Prior work experience in the client's industry Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2 Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience with enterprise data catalog tools Knowledge of regulatory, audit, and risk management requirements Leadership experience in data governance councils and working sessions Day-to-Day Responsibilities Lead the implementation and adoption of enterprise metadata management capabilities Define and maintain business, technical, and operational metadata standards Drive onboarding of critical data assets into the enterprise data catalog Develop and maintain end-to-end data lineage across various platforms Collaborate with engineering teams to automate lineage capture and visualization Establish governance processes for metadata stewardship, ownership, and lifecycle management Company Benefits & Culture Opportunities for professional growth and development Collaborative and inclusive work environment Commitment to innovation and excellence For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex.
