Schedule/Hours:

• Contract position (duration as specified during hiring)
• Rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on the needs of the Emergency Department

• Active GA RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, BCR; TNCC and national emergency nursing certification preferred but not required
• Strong skills in drip management (Heparin, Insulin, Cardene, Dopamine, etc.)
• Proficient in phlebotomy and bedside procedures
• Comfortable with patient ratios of 1:3-4, depending on assigned zone
• Willingness to float within the ER and to Navicent ER if required
• Experience with EPIC, Alaris pumps, and Omnicell systems a plus

• Provide hands-on care to a daily census of approximately 85 patients, including those with chest pain, stroke, diabetes, trauma, hypertension, and mental health emergencies
• Monitor cardiac telemetry; nurse responsible for reading strips
• Collaborate closely with charge nurses, hospitalists, intensivists, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based interventions
• Initiate and manage drips, administer medications, and respond rapidly in emergent situations
• Support a cohesive team environment while orienting to departmental procedures during initial onboarding

• Gain valuable experience in an accredited Chest Pain Center and ECCC Level 3 facility
