Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist

United Talent is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist for a full-time opportunity. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, comfortable working with financial records, and experienced in day-to-day accounting functions.

Schedule & Pay

MondayFriday- 8:00 AM5:00 PM

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Perform daily bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records
• Complete bank and account reconciliations
• Balance accounts and review financial transactions for accuracy
• Prepare and maintain financial reports
• Organize and maintain financial documentation and transaction records
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
• Track company property taxes and ensure payments remain current
• Assist with the company's tax-related responsibilities
• Work closely with the company accountant during annual tax preparation
• Entering and processing payroll through a 3rd party platform
• Maintain accurate and confidential financial information
• Assist with additional accounting and administrative responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

• Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience is required
• Experience with accounting software required; QuickBooks experience is preferred
• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Experience with account reconciliation and financial record keeping
• Familiarity with payroll processes
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Motivated, dependable, and willing to learn
• Basic CRM knowledge
• Strong computer and communication skills
