Restaurant Cleaner

Position Summary: To maintain a clean and tidy restaurant by clearing tables, keeping floors, walls and general restaurant area clean; to assist other staff where needed; to work with dishwasher and kitchen staff to assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and dish area.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Clears and cleans tables
• Interact with guests when approached
• Keep floor clean and free of debris
• Clean other parts of the restaurant as directed
• Interact in courteous and professional manner with Guests, management and co-workers
• Current CA Food Handler's Card
• Complete opening and closing duties as assigned

Other requirements: positive attitude, ability to handle stress well, ability to multi-task, ability to take direction, knowledge or ability to learn basic food safety and sanitation practices, physical requirements could include standing, walking, reaching, lifting (up to 50 lbs) and bending.
