English Teacher

The Ashburnham-Westminster Regional School District is seeking a dynamic and student-centered High School English Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Responsibilities -Plan and deliver engaging English Language Arts instruction aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks -Teach courses that may include literature, composition, grammar, research, and critical analysis -Develop lessons that promote reading comprehension, writing proficiency, discussion, and critical thinking skills -Differentiate instruction to meet the academic and social-emotional needs of diverse learners -Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students and families -Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administration to support student success -Utilize educational technology to enhance instruction and student engagement -Participate in department meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives -Foster positive relationships with students and contribute to the school community through co-curricular involvement
