Travel RN - Pediatric Psychiatric ER

Shift:






Nights / 6:45p-7:15a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week

Length:






13 Weeks

Weekend Requirement: Potentially up to every weekend

Requirements:

• 
  Active CO license
  
  



• 
  Minimum of 1 year of professional nursing experience
  
  



• 
  Experience with pediatric psychiatric emergency
  
  



• 
  BLS
  
  



• 
  BSN
  
  



• 
  Preferred experience in acute care, behavioral health, or medically complex settings
  
  



• 
  
  
  
  
  Prior clinical experience with eating disorder populations (e.g., anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, ARFID) in inpatient, residential, or partial-hospitalization settings preferred
  
  
  
  
  



• 
  
  
  
  
  Experience supporting patients with complex psychiatric, psychological, and medical needs preferred
  
  
  
  
  



• 
  
  
  
  
  Background in medical, med-surg, or acute care, including vital sign monitoring, refeeding protocols, and medical stabilization preferred
  
  
  
  
  



• 
  
  
  
  
  Experience with EHR systems and accurate, timely documentation preferred
  
  
  
  
  

Other Details:

  Competency with NG tube placement, monitoring, and maintenance; ability to support patients receiving enteral nutrition preferred

  Ability to provide sensitive, consistent care with appropriate therapeutic boundaries preferred

  Effective teamwork with providers, dietitians, therapists, and support staff preferred
