Senior Accounting Consultant
Our client is a small long-term care/retirement community in Annapolis, MD. Due to project, they are hiring a Senior Accounting Consultant to work in office in Annapolis, MD. Pay: $60-63/hr depending on experience. Duration: 3-4 months Schedule: 4 days a week, 30 hours a week Free Parking
Overview of the Senior Accounting Consultant role:
- Treasury management – tracking cash flow, initiating wires
- Assist with audit
- AR/AP Oversight – supporting the team
- Month-end Close – catch up – accruals, payroll JE’s, account reconciliations
- Able to identify, evaluate, and implement process improvement
Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accounting Consultant:
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related degree
- Advanced Excel Skills – Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs
- Sage Intacct experience is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
