Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) on 7 West B Medicine is responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients who meet Med/Surg level of care, including those classified under Medicine or Med/Tele Status.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with established standards.
• Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Maintain patient records and documentation accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment procedures.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg or Tele experience.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Certification in Nursing or other professional certification recognized by the Magnet Association.
• 1-2 years of Med/Surg or Tele experience.

Required Licenses/Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Shift Information

Two shifts are available:

• Days: 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM
• Nights: 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM

Holiday and weekend rotation required, with holiday coverage also necessary. No guaranteed hours; overtime is paid at the regular all-inclusive rate.
