Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN with circulating and endoscopy experience for a 13-week teaching hospital assignment in North Adams, MA.

Details

• Operating Room unit within a teaching hospital setting
• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Float and precept to both the main hospital and an affiliated surgery center as needed
• No weekend requirements, though holiday coverage may be required if needed
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand at time of profile upload; compact licenses not accepted
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 3 years of current OR circulating experience required
• Endoscopy experience required
• Experience in General, Ortho, Neuro, Urology, Vascular, and Bariatric surgical specialties required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Must have reliable personal transportation
• Skills checklist for OR/Circulate current within 1 year required
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required

Additional Information

• Precepting responsibilities included as part of role
• Facility provides scrubs
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation required
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested
• All scheduling requests must be finalized prior to submission, as accommodations after offer will not be approved
• Traveler must not prefer block scheduling or 10/12-hour shift accommodations
