Job Description
Title: Medical Assistant - Geriatrics

Schedule:
- Full-time, 40 hours/week
- Monday-Friday, 08:30-17:00

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week

Requirements:
- License: WA MA-C license REQUIRED
- Certifications: BLS
- EMR: Epic experience preferred
- Strong administrative experience required

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Room patients and obtain vital signs, height, and weight.
- Perform basic clinical procedures, including taking 12-lead EKGs and administering vaccinations.
- Assist with minor procedures such as dressing changes and lab test preparations.
- Manage administrative tasks such as chart preparation, scheduling, and follow-up calls.
- Coordinate communication between patients and external facilities or physicians.

Compliance / Notes:
- Candidates must provide a completed prescreen questionnaire before submission.
- All onboarding items (labs, background, physical, modules) must be completed promptly.
- Provide proof of local address and supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years.
