Respiratory Therapist - NICU/PICU
Location: Miami, FL
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Shift: 7:00AM - 7:00PM
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our NICU/PICU team. The position involves providing treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases in a fast-paced environment, utilizing advanced technologies and medication delivery methods.
Responsibilities:
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and evaluate patient responses.
- Utilize advanced respiratory care equipment such as High Flow Devices, Servos, and Nitric Oxide.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide coverage for adult floors as needed for nebulizer therapy, BIPAP, and CPT.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Valid BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of current acute care hospital experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- Current NICU/PICU experience is highly preferred.
- Experience with Meditech documentation system is a plus.
