About the hospital: Ridgewood Animal Hospital located in  Forest, VA on the outskirts of  Lynchburg, Virginia is looking for a Veterinary extern to join our team!

Ridgewood Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary clinic for household pets, proudly serving Forest, Lynchburg, Bedford & surrounding areas. Since its inception in 1978, Ridgewood has been known for offering superior care to the residents of this region. We offer wellness care and vaccinations, diagnostic work-up of complex medical cases, chemotherapy, routine surgeries such as spaying & neutering as well as more complex soft tissue / orthopedic procedures. Our  high ly skilled veterinary staff focuses on Fear Free patient care, comprehensive pain management and employing the most current medical / surgical techniques.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an AVMA accredited Veterinary School (VMD or DVM degree path)
