Dietary Aide

Responsibilities Three Trails Behavioral Hospital in Independence, MO is seeking a compassionate and dependable Dietary Aide to support our Nutritional Services team. In this role, you will help provide nutritious meals and a positive dining experience for patients receiving behavioral health services. If you enjoy working in a healthcare setting and making a difference in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply. Prepare and serve meals according to established dietary guidelines and patient needs. Assist with meal tray assembly, food portioning, and meal delivery. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining, and food preparation areas. Work collaboratively with dietary, nursing, and clinical teams to support patient care. Follow all food safety, infection control, and sanitation standards. Previous food service, dietary, healthcare, or hospitality experience preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus. Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry items throughout the shift.
