Senior Accountant

Synergy Search is partnering with a private equity-backed company to identify a Senior Accountant. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP Own the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness Support the annual audit and tax preparation processes, liaising with external auditors and tax advisors Analyze financial data and prepare variance analyses and management reporting Assist with cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and PE sponsor reporting requirements Support process improvement initiatives as the company scales Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 4+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong working knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes Experience within a PE-backed or private-equity portfolio company a plus Strong Excel skills and an analytical mindset Excellent communication skills and comfort operating in a fast-paced, in-office environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Synergy Search
